8×4 25mm PIR Insulation offer some of the highest thermal performance available in a rigid insulation panel, making them the go-to choice for projects where achieving lowered U-values within a limited build-up depth is essential. Supplied in a standard 8×4 (2400mm x 1200mm) sheet size, these boards are suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial insulation applications.

PIR insulation works by trapping gas within a closed-cell foam structure, giving it a significantly lower thermal conductivity (lambda value) than mineral wool or expanded polystyrene alternatives. At 25mm thickness, these are energy efficiency and are well suited to meeting and exceeding current Building Regulations requirements for new builds and renovation projects alike.

The rigid board format makes handling and installation straightforward. Boards can be cut cleanly with a hand saw or sharp knife, and the foil facing on both sides acts as a vapour check, helping to manage moisture within the building fabric. Boards are lightweight despite their thickness, keeping labour time to a minimum on site.
